Physician Assistant

Kristy Murrow, P.A.-C, is the managing partner of Mariposa Aesthetics & Laser Center, where she oversees daily operations and provides a wide range of patient services. A licensed physician’s assistant, Kristy is certified in cosmetic enhancements, including Botox, dermal fillers, and various laser treatments. Her expertise extends to skincare, sclerotherapy, PRP, and body contouring, thanks to additional specialized training. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Nazarene University in 1988 and a Master of Health Sciences as a Physician’s Assistant from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1999. Board-certified by the NCCPA, Kristy is also a member of the Oklahoma Association of Physician’s Assistants, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. 

Since joining Mariposa in 2009, Kristy has played a key role in the company achieving top 250 status with Allergan. Under her leadership, Mariposa has been recognized three times in Oklahoma City’s Metro 50 awards, which honors the city’s fastest-growing companies. Nationally, the center has twice appeared on the Inc. 500/5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. Kristy’s skill and dedication earned her a spot in Allergan’s Next Dimension program for the launch of Juvederm Voluma, making her the only injector in Oklahoma City to be selected. Additionally, she is a sought-after trainer with the Allergan Medical Institute.

Kristy remains at the forefront of the industry by staying current with the latest and safest treatment methods. She frequently speaks at professional meetings, and her insights have been featured in various media outlets, including okc BIZ, Journal Record, Aesthetic TV, and the Oklahoma Health and Wellness Show.

Outside of her professional life, Kristy and her husband of 37 years, Jeff, enjoy spending time with their 30 year-old son, Corbin. In 2023, after the tragic loss of their 19 year-old daughter, Kristy and Jeff founded VOID (Victims of Impaired Drivers, Inc.) in 2020. Kristy strives to honor her daughter every day, and creating a better future for those who have suffered similar loss.
