After you receive the injections, you will need to lay on your stomach for five minutes before you are able to leave and continue with the rest of your daily activities. It is recommended that patients who receive QWO at Mariposa avoid strenuous physical activity for about 24-48 hours. 

2. How Many Treatments Are Needed For QWO?

Depending on the areas you are looking to get treated, and the surface area of the spot, most patients receive 3 treatments. Appointments are typically spaced three weeks apart. Each treatment includes 12-24 injections which depends on the severity of your cellulite. Before you begin your QWO at Mariposa journey, you will receive a consultation and custom plans for you will be created. In most cases no more than 3 treatments will be needed. 

3. What Are The Side Effects Of QWO?

The most common side effect of QWO is bruising at the injection site. This bruising can last up to two weeks after the treatment. It may spread or darken for the first few days but it will lighten with each subsequent treatment. No recovery is needed for QWO, but strenuous activity should be limited.
